This will involve publishing a notice of your request in a newspaper of general <br />circulation for four (4) consecutive weeks. Your newspaper notice must indicate the expiration date of the <br />required 20 day comment period (the comment period expires al 4:00 p. m. 20 days after Ote last publication <br />date) so [he public will know how long they Gave to submit comments and/or objections to the Division. <br />Mail a copy of We published notice to all recorded landowners within 200 feet of the permit area. <br />Send a copy of your request letter to the Board of County Commissioners in EI Paso County and to the local <br />Soil Conservation District office. <br />In addition, since [he mine site is in the city limits of Fountain, you may want to notify their office. <br />Let [he public know that a copy of the original permit application is located here in [he Division's office if they <br />want to review i[. <br />Deposit a copy of your request letter at the County Clerk and Recorder's office <br />Send proof [o the Division, when available, that the item was published, that the adjoining landowners were <br />notified, that the Board of County Commissioners and Soil Conservation District office were noticed, and that a <br />copy of your request letter was placed at the County Clerk and Recorder's office. <br />If the Division does no[ receive any objections by Ote end of the comment period this item will be placed on the <br />next available Board agenda.
