C~ <br />2.03.8 PERMIT TERM INFORMATION <br />The permit term is for a 5 year period beginning on issuance of <br />the permit. Only reclamation activity will take place on the site <br />for this and any other future permit terms. <br />The breakdown of areas for this permit term is as follows: <br />1) Total permit area: 48.0 acres <br />2) Total disturbed area: 11.6 acres <br />3) Area of underground workings: 5.0 acres <br />4) Total affected area (2+3): 16.6 acres <br />5) Area to be reclaimed this permit term: 7.8 acres* <br />6) Area of surface control: 0.0 acres <br />7) Area of coal control: 0.0 acres <br />* This land has been backfilled, graded and re-topsoiled during <br />the previous permit term. This permit term is needed to see that <br />the land has successfully revegetated. <br />2.08.5 BONDING INFORMATION <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division is currently holding <br />a bond of $36,000 from American Shield in the form of a CD for <br />the reclamation of the property. Through the reclamation plan <br />proposed in Section 2.05.4 of this application, it is shown that <br />the reclamation cost less than this amount.
