The area is nearly flat w th some <br />steep slopes to the northeast of the disturbed area. Th land use <br />has historically been grazing land. The pit size is abo t 3 acres <br />f xrr /Z r <br />The soil at this site is a 22D. This mapping unit consi <br />shallow, loamy soils. They are gravelly and cobbly on t <br />and throughout the profile. These soils occur on gently <br />strongly sloping slopes. They have developed on gravell <br />outwash materials. They take water well, but have a lim <br />holding capacity because of the high content of gravel a <br />SOILS <br />The elevation ranges from 8,650 to 9,000 feet.
