The Division's approval of the control plan is based on the submitted production level as listed below. <br />Prior to any increase in daily or annual production rates, the applicant shall submit an Air Pollutant <br />Emission Notice and Control Plan revision which will be subject to Division review and approval to <br />ensure compliance with the National Ambient Air Ouallty Standards for particulate matter. Records of <br />the actual production rate shall be maintained by the applicant and made available to the Division for <br />Inspection upon request. (Reference: Regulation 1, III.D.1.b.) <br />Produetlon of coal shall not exceed 8,000 tons per day or 1,200,000 tons per year. <br />Truck loading of coal shall riot exceed 5700 tons per day or 1,200,000 tons per year. <br />This activity shall not result In the exceedence of the following emissions of fugitive total suspended <br />particulates (TSP) and fugitive particulate matter of less than.ten microns (PM,o). These emission <br />limits are based on the production rates listed above. The Division assumes that these levels are being <br />met if the control measures stated in the approved control plan are followed and the stated process <br />rates are not exceeded. <br />Total Suspended Particulates: 129.16 tons per year <br />Particulate Metter (PM,o): 29.99 tans per year <br />6. Emissions of air pollutants from conveyor and processing equipment transfer points shall not exceed <br />the following limitations (as calculated In the Division's preliminary analysis). Compliance with the <br />annual limits shall be determined on a rolling (12) month total. By the end of each month a new twelve • <br />month total is calculated based on the previous twelve months' data. The permit holder shall glculate <br />monthly emissions antl keep a compliance record on site for Division review. (Reference: Regulation <br />3, Part B, IIIA.4) <br />Particuate Matter :............. ..... 1.72 pounds per month and 0.0103 tons per year <br />PM,a (Particulate Matter<iD pm):....... 0.82 pounds per month and 0.0049 tons per year <br />Dunng the first twelve (12) months of operation, compliance with both the monthly and yearly emission <br />Ilmitations shall be required. After the first twelve (12) months of operation, compliance with only the <br />yearly limitation shall be required. Compliance with the yearly emisslon limits shall be determined on <br />a rolling twelve (12) month total. <br />The permit holder shall glculate emissions monthly and keep a compliance record on site in order to <br />demonstrate compliance with the above emisslon limitations. After the first twelve (12) months of <br />operation, the permit holder shall calculate annual emissions by the antl of each month. Annual <br />emissions shall be calculated based on the previous twelve (12) months' emission data.
