1~ • • <br />' ' (5) 'Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />The objective for reclamation of this site is to continue <br />to expand the Recreational and Open Space uses. This <br />' concept will be encouraged as well as enhanced by a <br />continuing program of landscaping which is discussed in <br />the letter prepared by Kincaid Tree Surgery Co. of <br />Colorado (Appendix D). <br />' <br /> The procedure for reclaiming the site will consist of <br /> grading, drain age, the seeding of grasses and pl•snting of <br /> select species of trees and shrubs. Future land use <br /> decisions will tend to dictate any further improvements. <br /> <br />~ Grading <br />' The process of preparing the site for reclamation is <br /> coincidental w ith the mining operation itself. its mining <br />' operations are completed reclamation operations will begin <br /> which results in a continuous process of developing the <br />' site for its f uture state 'of reclamation. This process <br /> will result in reestablishing land forms or creating new <br /> land forms for possible new uses. <br /> <br />Drainage <br />Drainage conditions will be established so as to maintain <br />the basic integrity of existing drainage patterns;. The <br />reclaimed site will not interfere with desired drainage <br />conditions. <br />' Revegetation <br />' Following the grading operation revegetation will commence. <br />The referenced letter, as Appendix D, speaks to the <br />preferred species of plants to be used. Plantings will <br />normally take place in the Spring; however Fall plantings <br />can also be expected to survive under normal conditions. <br /> <br />S2 <br />
