1~ • •
' ' (5) 'Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
The objective for reclamation of this site is to continue
to expand the Recreational and Open Space uses. This
' concept will be encouraged as well as enhanced by a
continuing program of landscaping which is discussed in
the letter prepared by Kincaid Tree Surgery Co. of
Colorado (Appendix D).
'
The procedure for reclaiming the site will consist of
grading, drain age, the seeding of grasses and pl•snting of
select species of trees and shrubs. Future land use
decisions will tend to dictate any further improvements.

~ Grading
' The process of preparing the site for reclamation is
coincidental w ith the mining operation itself. its mining
' operations are completed reclamation operations will begin
which results in a continuous process of developing the
' site for its f uture state 'of reclamation. This process
will result in reestablishing land forms or creating new
land forms for possible new uses.

Drainage
Drainage conditions will be established so as to maintain
the basic integrity of existing drainage patterns;. The
reclaimed site will not interfere with desired drainage
conditions.
' Revegetation
' Following the grading operation revegetation will commence.
The referenced letter, as Appendix D, speaks to the
preferred species of plants to be used. Plantings will
normally take place in the Spring; however Fall plantings
can also be expected to survive under normal conditions.

S2
