" ACZ Ina (ACZ), on behalf of Rockcasde Coa! Company is accepting bids to complete f'inil reclamation and closure of the Grassy Gap Mine. The mine is lot~ced approximately 11 miles south of Hayden on Countq Road 27. Access to the siu is good with a paved road to the mine entrance and surhrld graveled roads to the various mine disturbance areas. The following is an outline of the redamazion tasks to 6e completed (Note: All volumes arc appro ti T-t re): Gesural • • Grade access roads, repair any erosion damage, and dean~out ditches and culverts on main access road Pic 4 Ara • Reduce highwill above Pond 4 co a 3H:1V slope and regnde to. blend with surrounding terrain (27,000 cy) • Replace topsoil (10,000 ry) on regraded slope and estabiish contour furrows at approximately 50 foot horizontal intervals • Re-establish Ditch 4.1 bryond toe of regraded slope (3001n ft) • Remove culvert in Ditch 4.1 • Lower Pond 4 emergcnty spillway 0.8 ft and replace ripnp • Raise any low spo[s on the Pond 4 embankment to elevation 7550' • Add t,5 feet to 36" riser on Pond 4, and establish new 4" orifice • Ripnp Pond 4 inlets (60 cy, D• - 12 inch) • Remove sediment acatmulation in Duch 4-Z and repair any damaged contour furrows (hand work) • Remove intermediate ditch (1,200 ft) • Reduce the slope at the north end of Pond 4 to 4H:iV for I}vestock access • Remove culverts and conscrua riprapped Cilifornia Crossings along Pit 4 access road (5 c]' per crossing, D„ - 3 inch) • Reconstrua toe berm a slide area 3 (60 cy fill maceria]) • Construct toe drains u slide area I and 4 (17 ty, Ds, - 3 inch rock and 100 sq yds of geo-fabric} • Reseed and mulch disturbed areas h acres) .~..~,.
