EXFIIBIT "E"
GRADER PIT
RECLAMATION PLAN
The existing land use of the proposed pit area is
rangeland. The use of the area after reclamation
will be rangeland. As gravel production is ex-
panded into new areas of the pit site, the first
thing that will be done will be to rerove and
stockpile the top soil. After the pit has been
mined out, the slopes will be dressed to not
greater than a 3:1 slope. 'Ibp soil will then
spread over the mined and sloped area 6 to 12
inches deep. This soil will be fertilized ac-
wxcling to a soil test. Seeding will be done ac-
wrding to the Soil Conservation Service (S.C.S.)
guide sheet for rangeland seeding. Excess water
from adjacent areas will not be allowed to flaw
onto a newly seeded area. The area will remain
fenced to keep people, livestock and vehicles out
until stabilized.
