I have reviewed your application for a limited impact permit for 7.75 permitted acres. Listed below
are several issues that require a response from you on or before June 30, 1997. Also, I look forward
to meeting with you on Friday, June 27, 1997 to view the proposed site.
I ). The site access map is somewhat vague. Please provide an additional map or revise the
existing copy to show the location of the pit in relation to Eleven Mile and/or Spinney
Reservoir.
2). Please revise [he mining plan map to show [he adjacent landowners on all sides of the
proposed pit. It appears that Raymond and Carolyn Rugloski are the surface owners of the
7.75 acres. Please indicate if they also own the surrounding land.
3). The mine plan indicates that there is minimal topsoil available to be salvaged. The
reclamation plan indicates that topsoil will be replaced at a depth necessary [o promote
proper revegetation, 4 to 6 inches. Please indicate if topsoil and/or suitable seedbed material
will be imported for reclamation purposes. B so, at what depth and when will the seedbed
material be brought in.
