-B~ way of a reminder, where there is an objection to a 112
application or amendment, you need to be sure to do the following:
3/i 1. Schedule an informal conference between the end of the
public comment period and the date for Office (us) recommended
~~[. decision.
2. The Division Director or designee is the informal
(('8H" conference officer, NOT a Board member! Therefore, you need to
,~ contact the Division Director and coordinate a meeting date, or
have the Director assign someone to be the informal conference
officer.
r 3. At a Board hearing, have the Board assign a pre-hearing
f..~ ~~ conference officeYwhere there are two or more separate objecting
`''parties. (Where there are only the applicant, one objector and the
Office, the Board feels a pre-hearing conference is unnecessary.)
You need to have the pre-hearing officer assigned prior to the date
set for the Office recommended decision. On the Board agenda you
should only notice this request for a pre-hearing conference
officer as a discussion item, NOT as a formal public hearing.
