(1) Measures to minimize disturbance to the hydrologic balance, prevent off-site drainage and
provide for a stable configuration of the reclaimed area.
The hydrologic balance issue has been addressed earlier in this application. A Stormwater Dischazge
Permit will be acquired protecting the historic drainage pattern of the area.
(m) Specify whether the deposit/ore will be processed on site.
As stated earlier in this application, the material to be excavated is anon-specification road base
material with a maximum rock size of S/8 [0 3/4 inches. No processing other than extraction and
placement is involved with this material.
(n) Identify the primary and secondary commodities to be mined/extracted and describe the
intended use.
As stated in (m) above, this is anon-specification road base material and is the only commodity
involved. There are no secondary commodities involved. In many parts of the state, this material
would be classified as incompetent rock. However, in this area there are no construction aggregates
available. Any used in the county are imported. It does serve as an acceptable road base material
with enough clay to pack well.
(o) Name and describe the intended use of all expected incidental products to be
mined/extracted by the proposed operation.
As stated above, there are no incidental products known or proposed that could be used from this
operation.
