<br />EXHIBIT "C" <br />MINING PLAN ~ . <br />b <br />(a) Mining Dates 1 qi v la 4f~e,~~ft ~"~ <br />Unfortunately, mining started in 1998 before a pennit was issued, It will continue after the permit <br />is issued until the material is exhausted -probably Fall of 2020, or sooner. This will be a <br />compazatively low volume operation due to the quality of the material, which is only suitable for <br />non-specification road base. <br />(b) Topsoil -soil suitable as a plant growth medium. <br />7.y °`.c. <br />It appears that (the Sandy Loam) topsoil ranges from 5" to 12". It will be stripped and stockpiled <br />on the pit perimeters for use in reclamation. If stockpiles remain in place for more than one growing <br />season, they will be seeded with an SCS recommended seed mix. Generally this is 7 /# A pls of ~'r <br />Western Wheatgrass. \- - ~~ 4 <br />(c) Thickness of overburden or quantity of waste rock. <br />The subsoil is sandy clay loam which in some instances might be called overburden. However, in <br />this instance, the clayey material is mixed with the sand below to aid in compaction. _ ~z ~,~ ; / <br />(d) Thickness of deposit to be mined. <br />It appeazs that the deposit will average about 15 feet in thickness. <br />(e) Major components of the mining operation. <br />i. Access is directly north off of Highway 24 into the owner's property. <br />The pit azea will encompass 9.37 A, and the haul road 0.47 A. <br />3. Since this is an open-pit operation, there will be no underground openings such as adits or <br />ventilation facilities connected with this operation. <br />
