<br />EXHIBIT "B" <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />(a) Description of the vegetation and soil characteristics. <br />Attached are descriptions ofthe 2 soil types from the Elbert County Soil Conservation Service. They <br />aze Truckton sandy loam, 3 to 5 percent slopes and Yoder-Truckton-Limas complex. Also included <br />is the "Rangeland Productivity and Chazacteristic Plant Communities" for each soil type. <br />There aze no fortis, woody species or brush species on the site. <br />(b) Permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the affected land. <br />This is an undeveloped range site with no man-made structures on or within 200 feet of the pit <br />perimeter. <br />(c) Water resources in the area of proposed operation. <br />This will be strictly a dry pit operation with no water required or used. There will be no affect on <br />the surface or underground hydrology. A dry arroyo lies on the west of the permit azea~twuting from <br />south to north. A low berm will be on the west side of the permit area to prevent runoff or siltation ~ w '~~? <br />of the arroyo. There aze no other water resources that could be affected by this operation, such as I y„~' I ~• <br />streams, lakes, stockwater ponds, ditches, reservoirs and aquifers which could receive drainage from <br />the affected area. <br />(d) Wildlife Statement. <br />Attached is a copy of the response from the Division of Wildlife. We agree that any impact on <br />wildlife would be minimal at the most. <br />
