The a%ects in animals from repeated exposures by
Inhalaton to Chorsulfuron Inclutle decreased weight
gain, reversible kklney and spleen a%ec5, and bone
mnnow changes.
Toxbiy describetl in animals from the administretbn
of a single dose of Chbrsuffuron inclutle lung changes.
weakness and other nonspecific eRects. Repeated
dosing caused deweased weight gain, and bemaW
bgical and clinical chemical changes. Longterm dos-
ing (500 ppm) resulted in decreased body weight gain,
and slight hematological changes. Long-term tlosing
at even higher dose levels (2500 ppm) caused a slight
decrease in ferti0ry.
Animal tasting indicates that Chbrsu%uron, the active
ingredient, did not show carcinogenic a%ects. DeveF
opmental toxicity has been observetl but onty at ma-
femaly toxic dose levels.
Chlorsulfuron did not produce genetlc damage in bac-
terial or mammalian cell cultures. tt did not produce
