Wyman Exhibits -- Page 3
expected to be encountered in the mining process.
There will be no water used in the extraction or proces-
sing of sand and gravel.
You will find attached a wildlife statement made
by the Colorado Division of Wildlife concerning the
site: Exhibit D-1.
You will also find attached an inventory and evalu-
ation of the site conducted by the Soil Conservation
Service of U.S.D.A. This report identifies the soils,
vegetation found and recommends seeding for reclaiming
the site: Exhibit D-2.
E. Reclamation Plan
At the completion of mining the site will be
regraded to be complimentary with the surrounding
terrain. Slopes will generally be 3:1 or shallower.
Once the site is regraded, stockpiled overburden
material will be redistributed throughout the site
achieving a covering of at least four to six inches
throughout the site. If possible, redistribution of
overburden material will achieve a greater depth. This
activity will be accomplished using bulldozers, front-
end loaders and other equipment suitable to the
particular aspect of the job.
Once the material is spread, reseeding will be
accomplished by drilling the seed into the seedbed.
