given that the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will
meet to consider an application by Valco, Inc., P. O. Box
550, Rocky Ford, Colorado 81067, to conduct a surface
mining operation for sand and gravel on lands located in
part of the SW/4 SE/4 and SE/4 SE/4, Section 31, and part
of the Sl9/4 SW/4; SE/9 SR'/4; SW/4 SE/4 and NE/4 SE/4, Sec-
tion 32, and part of the NE/4 NLS/4; SW'/4 NW/4; SE/4 NW/4
' and SW/4 A'E/4, Section 33, Township 20 South, Range 65
{4est, 6th Principal Meridian; and part of the NE/4 NW/4 and
N{V/4 Nl9/4, Section 5, and part of the ATW/4 NE/4 and NE/4
' NE/4, Section 6, Township 21 South, Range 65 West, 6th
Principal Meridian, Pueblo County, Colorado-.
1<fining and reclamation at this site began in 1973 and
' is estimated to be completed in 2015. The land will be
reclaimed as private recreation area, wildlife habitat and
a small area zoned commercial/industrial.
