Pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Colorado
htined Land Reclamation Board and the "Colorado htined Land
Reclamation Act" of 1976, H. B. No. 1065, notice is hereby
' given that the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will
meet to consider an application by Valco, Inc., P. 0. Box
550, Rocky Ford, Colorado 81067, to conduct a surface
' mining operation for sand and gravel on lands located in
part of the SW/4 SE/4 and SE/4 SE/4, Section 31, and part
of the S{V/4 SW/4; SE/4 SW/4; SW/4 SE/4 and NE/4 SE/4, Sec-
tion 32, and part of the NE/4 NW/4; SW/4 NW/4; SE/4 N{V/4
and SW/4 NE/4, Section 33, Township 20 South, Range 65
West, 6th Principal heridian; and part of the NE/4 NW/4 and
1 NW/4 NW/4, Section 5, and part of the NW/4 NE/4 and NE/4
NE/4, Section 6, Township 21 South, Range 65 West, 6th
Principal Meridian, Pueblo County, Colorado.
Mining and reclamation at this site began in 1973 and
is estimated to be completed in 2015. The land will be
reclaimed as private recreation area, wildlife habitat and .
I a small area zoned commercial/industrial.
