We would offer the following co~nents and <br />recommendations for your consideration. <br />Overall, the application appears complete and thorough. We concur <br />with the phased mining and reclamation plans, placement and temporary <br />seeding of the stockpiled topsoil, and the proposed reclamation seed <br />mix. _~ <br />t appears that our concerns regarding runoff into the Arkansas <br />River have also been addressed. However, no mention was made regarding <br />the temporary seeding of the berms constructed to isolate runoff. We <br />recommend that this be incorporated into the applicant's mining <br />proposal. <br />e recommend that the permit boundary be fenced and <br />livestock be exc u e rom the site until such time as proper vegetative , <br />reclamation is achieved and bond released. <br />Please feel free to call if you have any questions or require <br />-..i.i: ~:..-..1 ...
