Pure wood fiber mulch will be applied at the rate of <br />1, o poun s per acre. <br />Prior to seeding the 3H:1 V reclaimed surfaces will be roughened up using tracked equipment or <br />dragged with a chain. <br />On flatter reclaimed surfaces, a seed drill may be used. The soil will be disked to a depth of 12" <br />prior to seeding. <br />The operator will work with the Garfield County Weed Control Agent to develop a program for <br />weed control. The disturbed and reclaimed areas will be inspected annually with areas containing <br />obnoxious weeds marked on the map. The areas requiring weed control will be sprayed in the <br />spring prior to the weeds flowering. If a fall spraying is required for weed control then that will <br />be done. Specific weed control chemicals and dosages to be sprayed will be coordinated with the <br />Garfield County Weed Control Agent. Spraying will be done on calm days to prevent overspray <br />from blowing onto adjacent vegetation. <br />
