Pit
File dk77-53
Enclosed find application form 110 for a Limited Impact Operation.
Exhibit D 'Wildlife Impact Statement could not be obtained at this time
and will be sent in the near future under separate cover.
I am still at a loss as to the amount of bond per my letter January
28, 1982. I am interested in closing the Powell Construetion Pit and am
requesting a refund of the $2500.00. Is it necessary to invest another
$2500.00 in order to complete the application ? Zf this amount is necessary
and the money is sent to the State Treasurer's vault, who collects the
interest, the State of Colorado or Powell Construction ?
At the present time gravel is being stored in the bottom of the pit
by Powell Construction and Colorado State Highway Dept., but no gravel is
being processed nor is the pit run being hauled form this site. Is it
possible to close and reclaim the pit and still store gravel at this site ?
I sincerely hope you can help me with these questions and hope all
forms wherein are filled out correctly.
Sincerely,
-~ /
/ /
r'E ~ c. /L~._ /s'C K C
Bertha Powell
