We appreciate your forwarding this letter <br />to us in such a timely manner. Dn several occasions we have <br />talked with Mr. McGuire specifically about the 20 acre piece of <br />property which is ownecl by his mother, <br />At this time I would liF:e to respond to each of his five comments <br />which constitute his reasoning for denying the Airport F'it #3 <br />application: <br />/1.) Our research shows that Mrs. McGuire does indeed own the 2U <br />acre tract of land to which he refers. <br />2.) Zt seems to <br />er,cluded fry <br />application <br />under lease <br />McGuire was <br />owner which <br />us that the McGuire tract is very clearly <br />~m our application. We ma4:e mention both in the <br />report and on the maps that the property is not <br />by Monf:s Construction L'ompany. In addition Mrs. <br />sent a certified letter as an adjacent property <br />informed her of our application. <br />~~.) You will note in our Reclamation Plan E:;hibit F, that the <br />contouring of the property indicates that the McGuire tract <br />I/ is not disturbed. Land around the McGuire tract will be <br />sloped properly and reseeded as pasture land. <br />4.) Presently the McGuire property has a sand and gravel mine <br />located on its eastern edge. In our opinion, the <br />introduction of another sand and gravel rtiining operation in <br />the area of the McGuire property would further- establish the <br />McGuire land use, reinforce the logic of sand and gravel <br />mining in the area, and focus more attention on the <br />marketability of sand and rocF: products coming from this <br />area.
