Reubendale, husband and wife, Horace F. Amrine <br />,and Mary Alice Amrine, husband and wife, Charles R. Baxter <br />and Priscilla Coffin Baxter, husband and wife, and Christopher O <br />Moffett, also known as C. O. Moffett, an unmarried man (here- <br />after collectively referred to as "Lessors") and W. R. Czace <br />6 Co., a Connecticut corporation ("Grace"). <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, Lessors represent that they own the real <br />estate described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this <br />reference made a part hereof, in the undivided fractional <br />interests stated thereon, and all of the coal, oil, gas and <br />other minerals iri, on.and under such real estate (the "Property"), <br />and n <br />WHEREAS, Grace desires to lease the coal underlying <br />the Property (the "Coal") pursuant to the terms of this <br />agreement; <br />WITNESSETH: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the <br />payments, mutual promises and covenants herein set forth, the <br />parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1. Grant o£ Mining Lease. Lessors hereby grant, <br />lease and let to Grace all of the Coal together with the <br />exclusive right to survey, explore for and define the extent <br />and quality of the Coal; to develop, mine, stockpile, screen, <br />crush, remove, ship and market the Coal by whatever methods <br />Grace may deem appropriate, including surface mining; and the <br />right to dispose of coal, waste materials and overburden, all <br />to be done in compliance with the provisions of this agreement <br />/. <br />
