Bonding - Rule 3 <br />• 1. A detailed estimate of the cost of reclamation of the ro osed <br />mining operation must a inc u e in t e rec amation pan portion <br />of the ermit a lication. The estimated cost must be in an amount <br />sufficient to assure t e com etion of the a roved rec amation <br />plan if the work has to be performed by the Board, throng <br />inde endent contractors. The estimate must include su ortin <br />calcu ations shown in sufficient detail to a ow the Division to <br />veri y t e accuracy of t o estimate. <br />RESPONSE: <br />As discussed in the March 1985 meeting, once the operation and <br />reclamation plan is agreed upon by both the Division and Peerless <br />Resources, Inc., then Peerless Resources, Inc. will work with the <br />Division regarding a detailed estimate of the cost of reclamation for <br />the proposed mining operation. This bonding estimate can be completed <br />in the near future following receipt of any additional questions or <br />comments from the Division. The bond will be agreed upon and filed with <br />the Division prior to final issuance of the permit. <br />• <br />L~ <br />-59- <br />
