Golder Associates Inc. (Golder) is pleased to submit this weekly summary of Phase Na Construction
Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of February 4`s
through February l Os', 2001.
The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures
ranged from -10° F to 23° F, with highs ranging from 31° F to 49° F. Snow was recorded on February
8`~. Weather observations were made on the six days worked of this seven-day reporting period.
Construction Smonsis
Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVa
construction. Ames began Phase Na construction activities on Febrauary 8`s and worked three days of
this seven-day reporting period.
Ames began Phase Na construction activities on February 8`s by stripping topsoil in Upper Arequa
Gulch below the overburden stockpile. Ames stripped all available topsoil and placed this material into
a temporary stockpile for relocation.
Ames began remediation of the well in Upper Arequa Gulch by removing the well pipe, pump, and
electrical wire in prepazation for well plugging with concrete.
