The numbers and order correspond to those used in your
letter.
U
1. Colowyo obtained Department of Health approval to add the
Section 16 Pond Discharge Point to our current CDPS Permit COG
- 850017 on July 29, 1994. This amendment is valid on date of
issue which was August 10, 1994. A copy is enclosed for
addition to your permit, found in Volume 2, Exhibit 7, Section
2. Please note that the proposed East Taylor Pond was also
added to the CDPS Permit.
2. Please note that the Technical Revision Request (TRA) already
called for the deletion of Table 1.
3. The Dam Access Road culvert was never added when the road was
constructed due to the extremely small flow (0.01 cfs) shown
to be at this location by the SEDCAD culvert sizing run.
Therefore, in the TRR, please replace the Prospect Pond Access
Road page with the enclosed revised page and delete the SEDCAD
Access Road Culvert Sizing page.
•
4. Colowyo agrees with the Division's decision that it is not
necessary to perform mitigation measures in the "North
Drainage". Colowyo has performed drainage improvement work in
the South Drainage in accordance with discussed measures, and
agrees with DMG's finding that the reshaped channel will not
be a part of the mine's surface water control system and is
not subject to regulatory performance standards. Enclosed is
a revised Technical Revision Request page which deletes the
requested language from the north drainage text and a similar
deletion from the South Drainage text.
