<br />A-few years ago, a young man by The name aff';Pete
<br />• Hupper came to Buena Vista to make to living 1~ To
<br />make the community his home.
<br />~, He married Julia Swann and a few years later a son,
<br />fiance, was born.
<br />Pete worked at Climax, the Buena Vista Correctional
<br />Faci lily, and later went into the trucking business.
<br />Pete held a lot of jobs, bui he had always held
<br />steadfast to a dream 1 a dream of establishing a center
<br />where "children of all ages" could enjoy physical
<br />exercise and have fun.
<br />Recently; a tragic tleath in the family occurred, but
<br />.from the bad luck came the chance to fulfill the dream,
<br />not only for Pete, but for his wife Julia and his mother,
<br />Ann Tally.
<br />The dream iS a roller skating rink which will open on
<br />East Main Street April 1.
<br />The rink is located in the same building which was
<br />built originally for a roller rink about 20 years ago. ThP
<br />rink will be open seven days a week and will have a
<br />disco theme. It will be called the Rockee Rollar Skating
<br />Rink, dedicated to family fun in memory of Paul Roger
<br />Tally, for this was a dream Tally also had for the area.
