Soils found in the loadout area are delineated on the <br />Loadout Area Soils Map (Map 15). This map was developed using information <br />obtained from the Fremont County SCS office. All known soils sample <br />locations are shown on this map. <br />• Soil descriptions for soils mapped within the loadout area were obtained <br />from unpublished SCS soil survey information. Soils within the loadout <br />disturbance area fall within the following classifications: <br />0 8 52, Kim - Cascajo Complex <br />o q 72, Midway - Cascajo Complex <br />o ii105, Shanta Loam <br />Table 22, Soil Taxonomic Classification, lists the specific soils involved <br />by mapping unit and soil name. Brief descriptions of these soil taxonomic <br />groups follows. <br />Soil Classification Descriptions <br />p 5 Arents. These deep, well drained soils are on man-made hills. The <br />soils are formed of mixed coal mining spoil and overburden materials that <br />. have been redistributed and deposited to a thickness of more than 5 feet. <br />The soil content is highly variable with dominant textures being loam, <br />sandy loam, sandy clay loam, clay loam, and silt loam. As practical, <br />materials better suited to support plant growth were deposited in the <br />2.04.9-4 <br />
