Open fractures
requiring rebonding and allaying weather
into the structure. Window and door
frames distorted; floors sloping notice-
ably. Same loss of bearing in beams. Roof and floor
beams lase bearing and walls lean badly
and need shoring up. Windows broken with
distortion. Severe slopes on floors. If
compressive damage, severe buckling and
bulging of the roofs and walls.
Example: 180 ft long apartment
house with extertsiort
of 6,000 u - in./in.
