Prior to augmentation, .114.5 acre-feet of consumptive <br />credit is available. The plan requires use of '62.1 acre-feet <br />of consumptive-use credit, but also results. in a return-flow <br />credit of 25.8 acre-feet. After augmentation, 78.2 acre-feet <br />of consumptive-use credit will remain. Zt could be leased <br />to others, such as the town of Nucla, or used in a <br />reclamation program. <br />Use of water stored in the ponds will be required during <br />the months of~April 'and October, when the .consumptive-use . <br />credit .is too low to supply. the needed eater. .It will be <br />important to.ensure that sufficient water.is~stored in the . <br />-ponds at the beginning of these months. - ~ ~~~ <br />• ~ Facilities <br />The facilities system that utilizes and distributes the <br />. ~ 62.1 'acre-Peet includes the following: 1). five ponds. in the <br />- NUCLA mine area, 2) a~pond south of NUC1A EAST mining area, <br />and 3) the CC ditch system, particularly .the sections that <br />feed Tuttle and Calamity Draws, and the diversion-split box <br />Ao. 13 on the CC ditch (Figure 2). <br />Appendix B contains as-built drawings of the five NUCLA <br />mine ponds and the proposed NOCLA EAST pond design developed <br />by pCC.
