EXIBIT A
Legal Description
-----------------
NMPM
T. 44 N., R. ]1 E.,
Sec. 34, SE 1/4 SE 1/3
The subject tract is reached by traveling approximatly 36
miles north of Alamosa on highway 17 to the Crestone
turnoff. Then travel approximatly 7 miles west on county
road "T" to the junction with the county road 66-T.
The tract is then reached by traveling approximatly 3 1/2
miles northeast to the site. The tract is located by use of
the Rito Alto 7 1/2 minute quadrangle (see appendix A).The
location was further assured by the discovery of a brass cap
section corner common to sections 34 and 35 of the subject
township, and sections 2 and 3 of T. 43 N., R 11 E. The
tract is bisected by the county road and is currently
used for livestock grazing and wildlife habitat. An
abandoned gravel pit of approximatly 5 to 10 acre size
borders the tract to the northwest and an active pit of the
same size corners to the tract to the northeast.
The tract has excellent access with asphalt all weather road
to within 3 1/2 miles of location. The last 3 1/2 mites con-
sists of an excellent, well maintained gravel surfaced
all weather road to the tract. This road will require little
or no modification if trucks of resonable size are used.
Water and power are not available on the tract but would be
available nearby.
