RE: Hart Rok Redi Mixt Concrete, Inc. - File nos. 77-195, 77-19G, & 77-197
Dear Mr. Watson:
As per your request, I am sending you (as the agent of Hart Rok Redi Mi xt
Concrete, Inc.) the followi ny items: 1) the General Letter of Credit from
the First National Bank of Salida in the amount of $10,500.00 dated November
16, 1977; 2) one copy of the permit application for the Alain Plant Pit,
file no. '7-197; 3) 3 copies of our "RECLAMATION BOND - CORPORATE SURETY"
form; and 4) 3 copies of our "REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF PERMIT AND SUCCESSION
OF OPERATORS" form.
As I understand it, the business and properties are to be sold and another
operator will succeed to the permits after they are issued. Each permit
application was approved by the hiined Land Reclamation Roard with bond set
at $2,500.00. Therefore, each corporate surety should be made out for this
amount. If you have any gue.stions concerning these forms, please call me.
As soon as the bonds for the three operations have been received and approved
by our Division, the permits will be issued to Nart Rok Redi Mixt Concrete.
As a part of this process, please review the permit for file no. 77-197
and update the map to reflect the new acreaye of 9.8 acres.
As soon as the three permits have been issued, succession of operators may
then occur on them. The forms men tiorred under number 9) above should be
properly filled out for each of the three operations and submitted to our
Division. The Boarcl will then consider these requests during their next
regularly-scheduled meeting. (The next t4.~o meetinys will be hfarch 29-25 and
April 21-22.) At that time, I will also plan to recommend that the bonr7
for each operation be raised to $5,000.00 (the newly leyislated maximum bond
for limited impact operations). Thus, the new operator will be required to
submit three $5,000.00 bonds in order to succeed to the three permits (if
the Board approves the raises in bond).
