The Division of Minerals and Geology has received comments from you concerning the 112c
application of the above referenced site. Those comments were received in a timely manner and
therefore establishes you as a party to the application process.
Please find enclosed a Division of Minerals and Geology information memo concerning Citizen
Participation in the 112 Reclamation Permit Application Process revised on October 19, 2001.
Staff advises that you read the memo cazefully as it explains your rights and responsibilities
concerning the application process.
Staff has tentatively identified August 19'" or 20d' for the Pre-Hearing Conference as required
under Rule 2.7.1(c). As a party, you will be notified by certified mail of the exact date, time and
location of the Pre-Hearing Conference.
Currently, the Decision Date for this application is September 2nd, 2003. The Mined Land
Reclamation Boazd Meeting is currently scheduled for September 2324'", 2003.
As a party, you will receive, by certified mail, a notice of the exact dates for the hearing on this
application. The applicant has the right to request extensions to the Decision Date to address
issues prior to any decision. By Rule the extension of the Decision Date cannot exceed 365 days
beyond the date of filing.
