Powerline demolition was based on the appropriate crew as published in Means. <br />Pouerline lengths were taken from Exhibit 12-1. An estimate of daily production was made <br />co arrive at the total cost for removal. Total length of line that traverses the permit <br />area is five miles. Please see 4orkshee[ DEMO-1 in Attachment 13-4 for costs. <br />Facility Areas. AfTer the buildings are demolished and disposed, [he site is reclaimed. <br />The top one foot of gravel/scoria surfacing on the parking/storage areas will be ripped <br />ui th a dozer and then picked up and hauled to the diesel fuel tank area where it will be <br />[opsoiled and seeded (see RIPFAC-1, and HAUL FA C-1). Concrete foundation areas will be <br />hauled to an open pit for disposal. The entire parking area will be ripped to a depth of <br />three feet. Approximately one foot of topsoil from the topsoil stockpiles will then be <br />hauled by scraper to the ripped parking area. <br />Miscellaneous Utilities. Underground utility reclamation, including phone lines, water <br />lines, and powerlines, will be abandoned in place. <br /> <br />Sediment Ponds. Two of the sediment ponds will be totally reclaimed (004 and 008), while <br />Chree (002, 003, and PECOCO) will remain in place as permanent ponds. Location of all <br />impoundments can be found on Exhibit 12-1. Embankment volumes were taken from existing, <br />proposed, and typical designs as shown in Chapter 13. The embankment ma[eri al and <br />sediment accumulated from [he ponds could be dozed into [he surrounding area [o <br />reestablish the drainage. Please refer to worksheet for calculations. <br />Road Reclamation. The [uo types of roads requiring reclamation within the mine site are <br />haul roads that are [o be totally reclaimed, and roads that are presently haul roatls but <br />will be left for [he postmine landowner and must be narrowed.
