<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Rough Cut LLC, 1564 Road GG, Rocky Ford, CO., 81067, phone (719) 254-4576, has filed an <br />application for a Regular (112) Construction Materials Operation Reclamation Permit with the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act <br />for the Extraction of Construction Materials. The proposed mine is laiown as [he Rough Cut Pit, and <br />is located at or near Sections 4 & 5, Township 23 S, Range 58 W, 6'h Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is Summer, 2001, and the proposed date of completion is Fall, <br />2056. The proposed future use of the land is rangeland. <br />Additional information and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology, 1313 Sherman St. ,Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567, or at the <br />Otero County Clerk and Recorder's office; Counq-Court House, La Junta, CO. 81050, or [he above- <br />named applicant. A complete copy of the application is available at the above-named County Clerk <br />and Recorder's office and a[ [he Division's office. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:OOp.m. on May 24, 2001. <br />Plense note that under the proi~ision of C'. R.S. 3a-32.5-101 et secs. Comments related to noise, truck <br />trafrc, hours of operation, i~isual impacts, e fens or7 property values and other social economic <br />concerns are issues not subject to this Orfrce's jurisdiction. These subjects, and similar ones, are <br />typically addressed by your local governments, rather than the Division of Minerals and Geoloq~ <br />or the Alined Land Reclamation Board. <br /> <br />
