Each <br />of these parties has substantial interest in the Application for Mining <br />and Reclamation Permit submitted by Robinson Brick and Tile Company for <br />the Chieftain South Mine. All Seasons Mobile Park of Great Bend, Inc. <br />and Goldminer Properties Co. are the owners of the surface estate of the <br />property proposed for mining and reclamation under said application. <br />Southwestern Development is the owner of mineral rights on a portion of <br />said property, as well as the owner of the surface estate on properties <br />in the immediate vicinity. Ocean Majestic Corporation is the owner of <br />properties in the immediate vicinity. Mount Carbon Water and Sanitation <br />District is a quasi-municipal corporation which encompasses all of the <br />above referenced properties and owns an adjudicated water well on said <br />properties. By an undated certified letter from the applicant, the <br />above parties were notified that written objections must be filed with <br />the Board on or before 5:00 P. M., August 25, 1981. <br />This letter is written on behalf of all of the above parties pursuant <br />to C.R.S. (1973) 34-32-114 and Rule 3.3, Rules and Regulations of Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board (referred to as the "Regulations"). This <br />letter constitutes a written objection and protest to the issuance of a <br />permit pursuant to the application. This letter may be considered a <br />petition for hearing on said application and the specific protests and <br />objections enumerated herein. <br />
