• <br />C - The level area of parcels C-2 and C-3 are utilized for industrial storage of trailers, equipment, <br />etc., and generally have minimal non-irrigated ground cover or aggregate non-vegetated <br />ground cover. The sloped bank areas of these two parcels, as well as most of parcel C-1, <br />generally have ground cover consisting on non-irrigated grasses and weedy species. Thereasx <br />also a small wedandsalong the Spring Creek Seep Ditch .along the west edge of parcel. C-kae <br />that won't be disturbed. No mining will occur on these parcels, as they will only be utilized <br />as the Plant Site. <br />D - There are existing extensive stands of cottonwood and willows on lower portions of the site <br />east of the west high bank area along the S. Platter River, and other scattered tree stands on <br />the west of the west high bank of the S. Platte River. Ground cover consist of non-imgated <br />grasses with weedy species, alfalfa and grass pasture for animal grazing, and some irrigated <br />cropland. Some of the non-irrigated grass and pasture areass have obviously been overgrazed <br />with sparse ground cover. No mining or disturbance will occur east of the existing high west <br />bank along the S. Platte River and the tree stands in this azea will be preserved. It is the intent <br />of the operator to excavate the areas of this site between the west side of the west high bank <br />along the S. Platte River to the allowed setbacks from the all of the other property lines. A <br />slurry wall will be installed, the afteruse will consist of a sealed water storage reservoir, and <br />the reservoir banks areas will be revegetated with non-irrigated area. <br />It is anticipated that jurisdictional wetlands exist on portions of Parcels B and C-1, and potentially <br />on other portions of some of the other parcels where some mining or other disturbance is proposed. <br />Wherejurisdictional wetlands are identified and mining or other disturbance is proposed that would <br />impact identifiedjurisdictional wetlands, no disturbance of these areas will occur until a Nationwide <br />or other appropriate 404 permit for removal and replacement of any identified jurisdictional wetlands <br />has been issued by the Corp of Engineers. <br />_~ <br /> <br />
