Mr. Bob Siegrist - 3 - November 25, 1985
Exhibits H and J
1. Are the existing trees that were to be preserved in reclamation (as
per the recommendations of the Colorado Division of Wildlife) still on
site? If so, are they to be left in final reclamation? Furthermore,
~~. given the obvious uses of the lakes for recreation and wildlife, why
S 0 are no trees to be planted around the lake shores? Given the probable
~s¢`5 depth to the lake surface, there should be plenty of room to plant
trees on the banks. Tree plantings at selected locations around the
~~~ lakes would enhance their recreational and wildlife uses. Please
~,4/ respond to this area of concern and justify your plans.
Exhibit L
~~1. If the depth of topsoil and the slopes of the sand bar area are
unchanged after your responses to this review, and no tree plantings
T are added, I concur with your reclamation costs. If, on the other
hand, the depth of topsoil is increased, grading costs increase in the
~~oe sand bar area, and/or trees are to be planted around the lake shore,
,r ~ISpO your costs should be increased accordingly, and a new total cost figure
~ p.~• should be produced. As I mentioned above, submittal of this new
financial warranty amount will allow the succession of operators to be
approved by the Board.
Exhibit M
1. Given the changes in your plan due to this amendment, I will need
y;..d ,mot confirmation from Adams County that their conditional use permits still
G,bo.t P~~~~ 7 aPPeadbesent aure8uest tonAdamssCount are nuestinapthisaconfirmationebut
~ sw~ Y q Y 4 9
(,,,,r~^• ` have not yet received a reply.
I have tried to be as comprehensive as possible in my review of this
application in order to minimize our necessary correspondence.
