EXHIBIT E
Reclamation will begin by removing fill materials, consisting of
top soil and gravel, that formed a small portion of the original
pit's north rim. This fill material plus remaining amounts of top
soil will be scattered in the central pit area. Most steep em-
bankments will be graded down to slope not exceeding a 2:1 ratio.
Perimeter contouring will conform to existing hillsides. Inner
contouring will provide a gentle south to north trending drainage
through the pit and its north rim to help minimize landslide
probabilities. Large boulders will be placed in the steep north wash
to retard erosion and protect the dense brush-grass-tree cover now
existing. yit area will be seeded as recommended by the 3havano
Soil Conservation Service.
