Satellite Warehouse/Storase Area (MR 02-1791
A Twentymile ranch wazehouse/storage building and associated outside storage/parking area will be utilized as a
satellite wazehouse/storage site by TCC. The site is located at the intersection of Routt County Roads 27 and 33
and is shown on Map 24. When the building is no longer needed by TCC, the material stored there will be removed
and the building revert back to the status of a ranch wazehouse/storage facility.
Communication Line
A communication line, as shown on Map 24, was installed to tie-in the warehouse with the existing network. A
segment of the line is buried, while the remainder is hung from existing poles.
Wastewater Treatment Facility
A new wastewater treatment facility was constructed at the Foidel Creek Mine. This facility was designed by
Schmueser Gordon Meyer, Inc., an engineering firm located in Glenwood Springs. The facility is an aerated lagoon
system, comprised of three treatment ponds and a "polishing" pond. The facility locations are shown on Map 24,
Surface Facilities. TCC has received both a site application and a dischazge pemut for this facility. The Colorado
Department of public Health renewed the dischazge perrnit number CO-0042161 on March ], 1995.
The treatment facility required the installation of sewer lines from the new bathhouse to the ponds and from an
existing bathhouse, which is located behind the shop/warehouse, to the ponds. As stated above, the treatment
facility required the construction of four ponds. The ponds were lined with clay. The cut and fill balance for the
ponds were estimated at 8,237 CY of cut and 5,297 CY of fill, which resulted in an excess of 2,940 CY. This
material was stockpiled adjacent to the facility at the location shown on Map 24. Prior to excavation,
approximately 12 inches of available topsoil was removed and stockpiled adjacent to the facility at the location
shown on Map 24.
TCC obtained approval to move slightly downslope of the wastewater lagoons disturbance area to establish a
borrow azea for the underlying clay materials. This material was used in construction of the compacted liners in the
previously approved wastewater lagoons.

MROS-195 2.05-19 8/24/05
