Permit No.: CMOOC0~13 <br />County: llontrot:c <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISC144RGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />In compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act, <br />(25-8-101 et. seq., CRS, 1973 as amended) and the Federal Water Pollution <br />Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq.; the "Act") <br />PEABODY COAL COMPANY <br />is authorized to discharge from the Nucla Coal Mine <br />located in Sec. 25, T47N, R16W, approximately 2 1/2 miles northwest of Nuela, CO <br />to Tuttle Draw, tributary to the San Miguel River <br />in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements and other <br />canditions set forth in Part I, and II hereof. AL1 discharges authorized <br />herein shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of this permit. <br />• This permit shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date signed by <br />the Director. Should the applicant choose to contest any of the effluent <br />limitations, monitoring requirements or other conditions contained herein, the <br />applicant must comply with Section 24-4-104 CRS 1973 and the Regulation for the <br />State Discharge Permit System.
