Long <br />Dwismn Director <br />A_ On Page D5, [he Operator states "If the rock content in. the soil can be reduced by 30% to <br />60% as compared to its material condition, the growth medium should be capable of <br />producing good growth of both grasses and wood materials." Are there plans to screen the <br />materials to archive the required percentage? If not, how does the operator plan to achieve <br />the desired percentage? <br />On Page D-6, the Operator attempted to estimate the available topsoil in the area, given the <br />difficulty in trying to quantify the total available topsoil at this time, the operator should <br />commit to salvage all available topsoil in the area. <br />B. The Operator plans to use a blasting compound (probably Anto) to blast the rocks. Are <br />there plans to monitor for blast vibrations'? <br />C. Processing and Hauling <br />The exiting road from Highway 1 l5 to the Quarry will not be adequate to handle the kind <br />of track traffic proposed. Please submit the upgraded plan for the road. The upgraded road <br />design must be able to handle the proposed [tuck traffic and designed by certified <br />professional. <br />
