A_ On Page D5, [he Operator states "If the rock content in. the soil can be reduced by 30% to
60% as compared to its material condition, the growth medium should be capable of
producing good growth of both grasses and wood materials." Are there plans to screen the
materials to archive the required percentage? If not, how does the operator plan to achieve
the desired percentage?
On Page D-6, the Operator attempted to estimate the available topsoil in the area, given the
difficulty in trying to quantify the total available topsoil at this time, the operator should
commit to salvage all available topsoil in the area.
B. The Operator plans to use a blasting compound (probably Anto) to blast the rocks. Are
there plans to monitor for blast vibrations'?
C. Processing and Hauling
The exiting road from Highway 1 l5 to the Quarry will not be adequate to handle the kind
of track traffic proposed. Please submit the upgraded plan for the road. The upgraded road
design must be able to handle the proposed [tuck traffic and designed by certified
professional.
