THE SOURCE TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS FOLLOWS:
Coal mine (underground, known as Bowie No. 2) and coal processing facility located in
T7 3S, R91 W, 3 miles northeast of Paonia, Delta County, Colorado.
THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
One 11) -Allis Minerals System screen rated et 1500 tons per hour, serial number
• 09KA09493; equipped with spray bars for control of particulate emissions.
THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE COLORADO AIR
QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL
ACT C.R.S. (25-7-101 et sea-, TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE
REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
This permit is for the process unit described above; it is not extended to any other equipment. Any
substitution/replacement of the equipment as described above constitutes a violation of this permit.
A revised Air Pollution Emission Notice (APEN) must be submitted prior to any separation,
substitutions, replacements, or additions.
2. This source shall be limited to a maximum processing rate as listed below and all other activities,
operational rates and numbers of equipment as stated in the application. Monthly records of the
actual producessing rate shall be maintained by the applicant and made available to the Division
for inspection upon request. (Reference: Regulation 3, Part B,III.A.4)
Screening of coal shall not exceed 36,000 tons per day or 416,667 tons per month or 5,000,000
tons per year.
During the first twelve (12) months of operation, compliance with both the monthly and yearly
production limitations shall be required. After the first twelve (121 months of operation, compliance
with only the yearly limitation shall be required. Compliance with the yearly production limits shall
be determined on a rolling twelve (12) month total.
