In addition, the post-mining contours on the south side of <br />the county road also need to be more detailed. <br />6.4.7 EXHIBIT G-Water Information <br />The application indicates that this operation is not expected to directly affect surface and <br />groundwater systems in the area. Please identify how these impacts will be minimized <br />especially in light of the fact that a batch or asphalt plant maybe utilized on the site at a <br />future date. <br />Under (2)(a), please identify and locate on the appropriate map the imgation ditch that <br />runs along the northeast side of Moss Creek. In addition, please clazify why the applicant <br />believes that the operation will not impact this feature. <br />The narrative in Exhibit D states that water for processing will become available at a <br />future date, however, under (3) of this exhibit the narrative states that there will be no <br />water requirements for this project, Obviously these statements contradict each other and <br />need lobe revised tg teflect that wester ~s Qr is nQL rewired for thi~~~o~ect, Ftu~~rmQrQ, <br />if water is required, Rule 6.4.7(3) & (4) require the applicant to provide an estimate of <br />project water requirements and indicate the projected amount from each source of water <br />to supply the project water requirements. Please clarify the narrative to comply with this <br />exhibit. <br />Finally, during the pre-hearing conference it was indicated that there is a 100 foot set- <br />back from Froze Creek, however, this is not cleaziy stated or shown in the application. <br />Based on the location of the northeast permit azea mazker, the affected azea could be <br />----------~16se~-thh~n160~f~ertatlre~r~ek- ' i - P~i7e isi, i p~~s ~---- - <br />that Froze Creek is likely an ephemeral stream and aset-back would be appropriate in <br />this instance.
