This report defines the trethodology employed during the course of this <br />study. Results are summarized in tabular form and discussed within the <br />text of the report. Maps delineating vegetation types on the study area <br />and areas of vegetation that can be incorporated into the topsoil (shrub <br />incorporation map) are provided in Appendix A. Computes listings of all <br />raw and analyzed vegetation data are presented by vegetation type in <br />Appendix B. A list of vegetative species encountered during the field <br />study is included in Appendix C. <br />Sampling design and methods of data collection, analysis and presenta- <br />tion are based on information and guidelines provided by the Office of <br />Surface Mining's (OSM) Denver Office. These guidelines are summarized <br />in the 1979 edition of Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality <br />(DDQ) Gtiideline #2, "Premining and Postrnining Vegetation Inventory <br />for Coal, Uranium and Trona ttines." <br /> <br />~• <br />-2- <br />
