TFIIS PERMfC is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, Departrnent of Natural Resources,
State of Colorado.
RECITALS
A. The Pemlittee, Pioneer Sand Company, Inc. desires to conduct a mining operation (mown as
Pioneer Farru, for the purpose of extracting Sand. The Permitlee will not mine any secondary commodities.
B. On October 31, 2000 the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board"} approved the
Pemvttee's application for this pernit, fixed the amourrt of the financial warranty and directed that this pemut be
issued upon the filing with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division") of performance warranty and
financial waraMy (or warranties) in the amount so fined m form and substance approved by the Division. Said
waranties have bece filed with the Division.
C. If the Pertnrttee desires to extract materials other than those listed in (A), a separate permit may
be required.
D. On October 31, 2000 the Board made the following findings:
1. The apphcatioo for this pemmit oorrrpGes with the requirements of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Ad for the Extraction of Construdien Materials, C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sue., as amended, and
with all applicable local state and federal laws;
2. The operation will not adversely affect the stability of any signifiL~nt, valuable, and
permanent man-made strudwe located within two hundred fed of the Aflixted Land• except where there is an
agreemart betwear the Operator and the persons havurg an interest in the structure that damage to the structure is
to be conyrarsated fior by the Pertnittee; and;
