Show which areas will or will not be
revegetated, and where planting of woody or wetland vegetation will
be. Show any areas which will receive different thicknesses of
overburden or topsoil.
Both of these maps must be better drawn. They both need north
arrows, drawn to a scale within the proper range, distinct corners
and boundary lengths. Both maps need to have at least one
locatable reference point, such as a survey marker or other
feature.
Exhibit F - Other Permits and Licenses
(Note: Be reminded that if this will eventually become a landfill
site, it would be lots simpler for you to mine all the gravel you
want, reclaim the site as rangeland, get the permit released from
us, then permit it with the Dept,of Health as a landfill.)
Publication of Legal Notice .V//
This last item is not under any exhibit, but is described in your
application packet. You received a letter from Barb Chiappone
after August 24, stating that the application was now complete and
you must publish within ten days. Please provide proof of such
publication. There is a ten-day public comment period which must
pass before the application can be approved.
These are all the items I must receive at this time. Please
respond as soon as possible, to allow sufficient time before the
decision date comes up, and not let another deadline date slip by.
One final note: please make sure that this and all subsequent
correspondence and materials are also filed with the county clerk
and recorder, since the public must have the complete application
file available for review before approval.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~OJ ~'
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
S~
~o~~
r~ P~~
Gva~- lo~ o.
cc: Robert Vasquez, Costilla County Administrator
(b:\dmgcor09.95/p3-5):rco
