E. Stover & Associates regarding Louisiana Land and Gravel
Company, LLC permit application for a new gravel pit. This proposed gravel pit is very
close to where my parents live and the concems we have are listed below:
Issues of Concern are:
1. Dust and Noise from the gravel operation
2, Protecting ourvrigation laterals and irrigation water ditches.
3. Protection of our water source which is a live spring with a storage tank which
provides water for home and yazd
4. Safety issues from the truck traffic. This is newly oiled surface road is a school bus
route morning and evening.
5. Would like for the entrance into the proposed gravel pit azea to be moved further east
and that the gravel operation not come any further west from the old gravel pit azea,
and that the access to and from the gravel pit come from the east only..
We feel that the gravel operation and all it entails will have a great deal of negative
impact on the residents of Redvale Community, and especially those who live close to
this area.
Hope you will address these concerns before granting the permit.
Sincerely yours,
Robert W.
