Schmieding <br />i 15 June 1979 <br />Project No. 0057-24-02-01 <br />Page 5 <br />The topsoil will be replaced on Area 1 (11.15 ac.), Area 2 <br />(19.40 ac.) and the pit bank slope area (1.55 ac.) to a 3 <br />minimum depth of 0.5 ft.; therefore a total of 25,894 yd . <br />An average seed cost based upon the application rates in the <br />SCS report would be $22.17/acre. This cost was doubled since <br />it is less expensive to double the application rate than to <br />use straw and since most seed is not pure live seed an <br />additional 20~ was added which comes to a total of $53.21/acre. <br />I hope this information is sufficient in order to permit consideration of <br />this application at the June 25, 26 meeting. I have also attached the <br />Affidavit of Publication which I believe completes the requirements.
