The following information is being submitted in answer to your letter
of May 9, 1979 in order to make the application adequate for Mined
Land Reclamation Board consideration at the June 25, 26, 1979 meeting.
1. Mining Map
a. The affected land was purchased from Eugene and Fern
Brownwood subject to the easements of record. The
attached easement description describes the agreement
with Platte River Power Authority concerning the power
line. The mining operation will not affect the power
line and an attached signed letter documents this fact.
b. The adjacent property owners are now shown on the mining
map.
c. A copy of the Soil Conservation Service's Vegetation
report is attached. The report classifies the areas as
irrigated crop, pasture, junk yard, overflow, and river-
wash which are shown on Exhibit C enclosed.

a. A post mining use of pasture, ponds and landfill is
planned. Removal areas 3 and 4 will be reclaimed as ~
ponds with the sideslopes graded and seeded as previously
stated and shown on Exhibits C and F. Only Area 2 is
planned to be used as a landfill area for the City of
Loveland and then only if approved by the Radiation and
Waste Division of the Colorado Department of Health.
If approved for this use, the final reclamation of Area
2 will be pasture after its use as a landfill has been
completed. If not approved, Area 2 will be reclaimed 'I
as a pond. Area 1 with the exception of the area designated
as a settling pond will be filled with overburden soils i
to an elevation which will be at a minimum of 6 to 12 i
inches above the groundwater table. Area 1 will then be
reseeded and used as pasture. During the final reclama-
tion the settling pond area will be filled so that it
also will become pasture land.
