E~.hibit H
l•!i ldl ife
STROPJG FARM '2
The area is near to other commercial developments of siinilar• nature
alonn the Poudre River, and since this type of activity has been going on
for many years, the wildlife at present consists of small rodents and birds
native to the area. Ducks may be seasonally present on water areas in con-
sistence with migratory habits.
At present there are more than 60 acres of land designated as PHASES
II and III which are in natural vegetation and provide food and cover for
the wildlife native to the area. Similar food and cover is present on ad-
jacent lands and along the Poudre River, so that for the type of wildlife
inhabitinn the area continuous food and cover are assured.
After the gravel is exhausted, the area will contain about 90 acres of
pond area, which will become primarily a waterfowl habitat v,hich will be
unsurpassed. The nearness to irrigated farmlands which provide food for
v~aterfowl in fall and winter is a valuable asset.

~•~
:. .'
