<br />E~.hibit H <br />l•!i ldl ife <br />STROPJG FARM '2 <br />The area is near to other commercial developments of siinilar• nature <br />alonn the Poudre River, and since this type of activity has been going on <br />for many years, the wildlife at present consists of small rodents and birds <br />native to the area. Ducks may be seasonally present on water areas in con- <br />sistence with migratory habits. <br />At present there are more than 60 acres of land designated as PHASES <br />II and III which are in natural vegetation and provide food and cover for <br />the wildlife native to the area. Similar food and cover is present on ad- <br />jacent lands and along the Poudre River, so that for the type of wildlife <br />inhabitinn the area continuous food and cover are assured. <br />After the gravel is exhausted, the area will contain about 90 acres of <br />pond area, which will become primarily a waterfowl habitat v,hich will be <br />unsurpassed. The nearness to irrigated farmlands which provide food for <br />v~aterfowl in fall and winter is a valuable asset. <br /> <br /> <br />~•~ <br />:. .' <br />
