SENECA II-W MINE
The Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979 134-33-101 et seg.) and the Rules and
Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, and in particular Rufe
4.08.3, requires all surface coal mines detonating five 151 pounds of explosives or blasting agent to
publish a schedule of blasting in accordance with the above-stated regulatory requirements.
In accordance with these requirements, the Seneca II-w Mine, located south of Hayden, Colorado
hereby provides public notice of the planned blasting schedule for the arealsl described below.

1.A. North Wadge Area -The center of blasting area is located:

This blasting area will encompass an irregularly shaped area approximately 2,300 feet northerly and
southerly end 1,300 feet easterly and westerly from the above-defined center.
1 .8. Upper-Central Wadge Area -center of the blasting area is located:

This blasting area will encompass an irregularly shaped area approximately 1,000 feet northwesterly
and southeasterly and 3,000 feet northeasterly and southwesterly from the above-defined center.
